Two sides

This sculpture emerged from a quarried stone with which I tried to connect two things with each other: the extremely pointed, which is both recognisable in the outer angles and in the narrow foot, and as a balance of calm, soft sides in light wave-forms. Through this emerged in the corpus edginess and softness. These opposites are harmoniously bound together in the sculpture and are so balanced out that the sculpture is in peace with itself.
