Trilogie

The sculptures belong together and form a sequence. They are quarried stones in which the worked and unworked stone merge into each other. They represent three female torsos in different conditions whose character of tenderness is underlined by the internal warmth of the salmon-coloured marble. Pain and beauty stand alongside each other.

Cut
The second sculpture "Cut" is already more powerful. Seen from the side it is more stable especially at the level of the solar plexus and its body has been more than half worked out of the stone. In the place where there is a transition from the torso into the unworked stone there is a sharper, firmer cut. In the body there are no longer any blasting traces, it is healed. Only in the unworked stone are blasting traces present.
