Focus of life
This 7 ton marble sculpture is the center of an open space I designed in front of the Apostles Church in Essen: as an ancient symbol of man, five natural pathways lead toward the sculpture. In the center of the sculpture itself, I created an opening at heart level in order to invite everybody to approach and respond to it by opening their own hearts in turn.
